How planning works

From First Message to First Game Drive

Four steps, one small team in Arusha. The people who plan your itinerary are the same people who meet you on arrival — so nothing gets lost between the booking and the bush.

  1. Step 01

Tell Us What You Have in Mind

Travel dates, who’s coming, the animals you hope to see, how you like to sleep. A rough idea is plenty — most of our safaris begin with one.

Two minutes on our form or WhatsApp

  2. Step 02

    We Draft Your Itinerary

We match parks to your season, lodges to your style and driving days to your pace, then send a day-by-day plan with every cost listed.

    Itemised, day-by-day quote

  3. Step 03

    Shape It, Then Confirm

Add a night at the crater, swap a lodge, fit in Zanzibar. When it reads like your trip, we book everything and send your travel documents.

Revised as often as you need

  4. Step 04

    Meet Your Guide in Arusha

Your guide collects you and stays with you until the last morning, with our Arusha office on call around the clock if plans change.

    24/7 support while you travel

Good questions, honest answers

Still have questions?

Our Arusha team is happy to talk anything through — from the best month for your trip to what goes in your bag.

Contact our team Serengeti, TanzaniaPlanning around the migration?Pick your month and see where the herds are likely to be.Month-by-month guide
What is the best time to visit Tanzania?

There’s wonderful wildlife year-round. The long dry season (roughly June–October) is classic game-viewing time, January–March brings the calving season in the southern Serengeti, and the green season offers lush landscapes and quieter parks. We’ll advise on the best timing for your dates.

How much does a Tanzania safari cost?

Our day trips start from $290 per person and multi-day private safaris from around $695 per person. Your dates, trip length, group size and choice of lodges all shape the final price — we’ll prepare a clear, itemised quote.

Do I need a visa to visit Tanzania?

Most visitors need a visa, and many nationalities can apply online before travel. Requirements change, so please check the current rules for your passport with Tanzania’s official immigration service — we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak migration months and popular lodges, earlier is better — many guests plan 6–12 months ahead. We can often arrange wonderful trips at shorter notice too, so just ask.

Can I customise my itinerary?

Yes — every Taswira safari is private and tailor-made. Use any itinerary as a starting point, or tell us what you have in mind and we’ll design it around you.

What about payments, insurance and cancellations?

We’ll explain payment steps clearly in your quote, and we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Full details are in our terms & conditions.
